x7.5mm and I'd like to get a 40mm lens to fit. I'm guessing this is an extremely common project for most people, so I'm looking for help and advice on what lens to get to fit. For reference, the lens I want to get is a wide angle conversion lens like the 24-70mm that I usually use, but the problem is that it's a lot bigger. I'm new to this, and hopefully someone can help with some advice. Thanks! A: The main difference is the larger image circle. The solution is to remove the front of the lens (which you did with the removable sleeve, it's probably not as good as glass if there's a huge plastic housing) and move the front element over to where the sensor would be in a 35mm lens. This part of the lens is the one that changes the image circle. The aperture is a 22mm, the entrance pupil is 9.5mm and the overall length of the lens is 65.3mm. A 22mm is the maximum aperture of a 45mm lens, so your 22mm is actually a 36mm lens. The other advantage is that the maximum focusing distance is about 3.5 metres (1.2m). There's also the slight disadvantage of image distortion, but your 24-70mm lens doesn't have much of that. The lens is f/3.5 - f/6.3, according to Wikipedia. On the other hand, this lens is cheap and you could put the entire lens onto the 5D. Unfortunately, you can't just use a 35mm lens. That would fit but it wouldn't work. The problem is that the "wide" end of a regular wide-angle lens is smaller than the aperture of the Canon FD 35mm f/2.8 lens. The other problem is that the Canon FD 35mm lens has a focus ring. You would need to move it to a position on the other side of the lens and there's no room for it. I don't think you can move it back to the right. The f/3.5 - f/6.3 you quoted is from the middle of the Canon FD 35mm f/2.8 lens. The f/5.6 - f/8.3 you quoted is the f/2.8 - f/11.3 from
